Vodafone USB Modem 7.2

Image compression is a good thing

I like the image compression. I use the previous generation Voda dongle as my primary internet connection (I don't have a landline). I use the internet pretty heavily, and have never gone over my 3GB/month quota.

If voda didn't compress the images for me, I'd have to spend another £10/month to connect to a proxy that would do that for me (OnSpeed or similar).

And, as has been repeated ad nauseum above, if you don't like it you can turn it off (or use a different proxy).

Vodafone billing woes continue

Jim

Paper bill? You'd be lucky.

I'm getting billed totally at random, too. I phoned up customer services, who claimed (on 4 separate occasions) that they would credit me to make up for the over-billing, but no credit has arrived.

I have asked for a paper bill, but they seem incapable of sending that out, too.

Can I use this to nullify my contract with them? I'm fed up, and I want to leave.

Still no confirmation email

I joined on Sunday morning before the deadline - but no mention of an iPod during the signup process, and no email yet.

Anyone else in this position?

Cheapskates

With the greatest respect... hang on, bugger that... with no respect at all to the poster who claims to be spending only £10 per year on top ups: even if you're only being charged 10p per min for all calls, that's only 100 min per year. You aren't the typical user.

And frankly, we're talking about a company that charges 50 quid for an mp3 player with no screen. I don't think Jobs is after your shilling.
