This is what a firewall does. All domestic routers/firewalls default to refusing incoming connections, so nothing can be reached from outside. Besides trying to find devices on IPv6 addresses takes a lot more effort due to the shear number of addresses.

I'm constantly getting hit with all manor of probes and hack attempts on my IPv4 address as is everyone, yet nothing on my IPv6 address.
