One should assume even the Indian Army does have a wireless encrypted communication network which cannot be easily "hacked".

It is very absurd for IBM to demonize a man of such caliber. Richard created many of the foundations used by ALL IT companies (Unicode for starters), but they want to shoot him down on the basis of 100% legal utterings.

The tyrant behaviour is very much with you folks who come in and demand everybody to bow down to your non-arguments.
RMS was the founder of FSF, he personally authored many pieces of GNU software, he wrote the licenses and most importantly his observations about the software business are highly accurate.
Now you puritanic folks come along and try to take control of FSF.
I see lots of people with respectable scientific degrees who simply parrot what the media tells them to parrot.
One day they want a war, so they parrot war.
Next day they want good business relations with a tyranny and they will parrot that, too.

Richard basically started the free software movement with programs he wrote, with licenses he (co-) authored and with plenty of writing and speeches. He certainly has a very good claim to the leadership of the FSF.
Does it mean he is perfect ?
Certainly not.
But his "crimes" are truly benign as compared to some other "respected" figures.
The British have a very selfish, rational reason for the monarchy: they look into the history of the Russian, German, French and some other royal abdications. After the kings were gone, some sort of brutality came along quite quickly.
The Guardian as a lefty magazine will of course never admit this. It would run against their idealism.
Harry of Windsor's role is to be a "spare king" in case his brother dies in an aircraft accident or the like. Of course he should have a proper, demanding job in the meantime. One should assume his elders would take care of that, but apparently they failed.
