so with all the cops and secret service and likely privet security that was at this event they couldnt just remove him or pull the mike away?

this just goes to show we pay big bucks to give a bullies new toys to "control" people with and they abuse it... this just goes to show cops are nothing but a bunch of ex-military goons and highschool nerds out for revenge for all the shit they took as kids. maybe i am biased about this taser bs... considering a friends older brother was killed last summer while running from cop after being shot directly behind the heart... oddly the video recorder in the police car just happened to stop recording several seconds before all this started. the cop said he had a knife and was going after him... its kinda hard to be going after someone with a knife with your back to them and 20 feet between you. Yes he did have a folding box cutter in his front jean pocket because he had been at work. according to the other people i knew who were there the cop took it out of his pocket after he was on the ground before he realised he wasnt breathing...

So excuse my rant, but what id like to know is what would have happened had this kid also died from the taser right in front of kerry? would he have a real response or position on it than?

as far as using a taser to prevent a person from harming themselves... thats BS too!! theyve tasered a 3 year old who had broken a picture frame and was threatening to cut himself at a day care center... and tasered a middle school girl who was caught smoking in an alley while skipping school... she started to run and the cop shot her with the taser to "protect" her from running into the street and being hit by a car?

yes as an american company dell must comply with these laws but if brazil didnt have some ass backwards policies themselves they could have a much stronger electronics industry... as is there is a heavy tarif on all imported electronics parts and companies who who try to do business there.

This was put into place in hopes of stimulating local electronics industry growth but has not been followed through on at all, which is very typical of the brazilian government... It is very common for people who travel to brazil often to bring laptops, digi cams and video game systems to sell while there to finance their trip because buying even a ps2 memory card will cost about 70 dollars US... about 120 rais. Thats allot of money to your average brazilian.

But in this case considering hes already got the machines does it realy matter how he fills out forms? dell and he us trade dept would be hard pressed to try to make the brazilian government as the fudning body/owner return the machines.

yes these laws are total bs, I am respnsible for distributing token cards for my company. All the newer tokens come from china but i cant export them to employees in china even if their at a company location.
