That dump of the first set of Cluster satellites got me into working in the space industry. I got a contracting job at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory building the replacement Peace instruments. It was a strictly "build to print" job, so no changes from the original instruments, the funding didn't allow any changes. While doing the contracting I heard about a permanent position which I successfully applied for, and worked at the lab for a further 20 odd years on satellite instruments and corresponding ground test equipment. Included in this was a couple of trips to the Kourou launch site for prelaunch testing on one campaign.
