I have three NVMe drives on Windoze 11 and according to my testing they are all performing at near maximum speed for their technology. The OS drive is running at 6698 MB/s read 5036 MB/s write. Randoms are 878173 read and 337890 write. The other two drives are older tech and they only get to about 3000 read. What am I doing wrong?
My machine would not let me login to my router, my VoIP box, and several other gadgets. It completely locked up the login interface to my old VoIP box. I had to reboot it to get access back even on Win 10. I have a backup program that sends backup success or fail emails. It failed to send. The unfortunate part of all this was that because I was in the middle of installing Win 11, I didn't know what the correct behaviour was. So I started looking for how I could load a security certificate into my router. What worked for me was I procrastinated long enough for Microsoft to fix their stuffups.
I've used this KB for several years. Low profile mech KB with short key travel. 87 key TKL. all the keys in the right place and much cheaper tthan the current mechancial switches KBs. If your licences are classed as Retail then they can be moved to new hardware for no cost. I recently buit a new machine and when installing W10 I used the retail licence keys that I had for W7 Pro. When the installer asked for the licence I keyed in the W7 code and it went ahead and when complete it activated without difficulty. I had used the W7 licences previously.
