Um, stating launch time at just "4:33pm" could theoretically put it anywhere in a 24hr window (and also wrong for the majority UK readers)! It's 4:33pm EDT, 9:33pm UK time.

Proof-of-concept open-source app can cut'n'paste from reality straight into Photoshop using a neural network
The transferring it over the air is clever, not knocking that at all. But it'll take more than what's shown in that video to impress with the cutting and pasting element. Show it extracting from a more cluttered, non neutral coloured, area and pasting into something other than a white/neutral image in the exact same lighting/environment. That is incredibly tricky and if it can't handle that it has very limited usage. Fair play on the innovation side regardless though.

UK Carphone Warehouse shops set to sling their last phones, 2.9k redundancies hit high street, as Dixons closes all 531 'standalone' sites
Whenever I'm looking for a new phone I always go to CPW. Only to physically compare look and feel of phones though, then go home and order online, even if it's FROM CPW. They also don't help themselves with their 'attentive' staff making the shops a borderline hostile place TO even enter (admittedly an approach not unique to CPW)
