Mike drop, DXC-ya later! Lawrie immediately ejects as CEO from IT outsourcing giant

Not one red dime

1. Jo Mason, if you haven’t already, start sweating profusely. Sal looks like he’s plenty capable of cutting his own steak. Which means, you represent no “tangible” value whatsoever.

2. Board of directors, Mike Lawrie and rest of his cronies should be fired for cause. In ignoring the business, employees and customers they have been singularly focused on stockholders and screwed that up royally. DXC stock price on Sept 12, 2018 = 91.42; DXC stock price on Sept 12, 2019 = 32.01, a 65% drop. Not one of them should receive a penny. The only thing worse than the damage they’ve done is rewarding them for it.

Mikey's Windfall

Just for grins - let's say we reduce Mikey's annual comp from $68.12m to $4.12m. Still a huge salary but that frees up $64m per year.

Assume a fully loaded FTE is $150K, that's roughly 427 FTE's DXC could afford to pay and serve it's clients. And that's just ML's salary - not sure about Saleh etc.but equivalent cuts across the executive suite pushes that FTE number up significantly.

This will never happen of course but it does provide some context on the greed, hypocrisy and lack of ethics exhibited by this leadership team. Come on DXC BoD - fix this!

There's that phrase again: JP Morgan CIO told Autonomy's first HP boss it was 'a shit show'

Re: Not Sure Who This Really Helps

There was paranoia at HP as well. Remember that prior to his departure, Mark Turd imposed an across-the-board salary cut and layoffs were rampant. Mad King Leo rescinded the cuts (good for him) but the damage had been done. Perhaps it wasn’t as bad as Autonomy, but the paranoia at HP was real and it continues to this day at DXC.

If DXC were a parrot - I fear it will soon meet its maker - for now, it's clear that Mikey and Pauly have been nailed to their perch.

ML and PS need to go NOW. We need a fresh injection of external executive talent before this parrot "is no more", "has ceased to be", is "bereft of life" etc.
