You misunderstood. The WRONG people are snooping, you know governments. So long as it's private enterprise making money from it, there is no problem.
Don't like it? Then clearly you are a left wig, socialist loving , red commie traitor!
Last time I looked, Amazon shopping doesn't run live video, whiteboaringd, conferencing and a host of other thingsAnd I have noticed a slow down on Amazon.
Add to that the use of CDN's which serve cached content (steaming video, images and text), then non-realtime content produces much less of a load on the core systems.
Some moron hacks into a computer and doesn't tell AMD because they won't admit their mistake and may sue him.
Then he published them.
So said Muppet has now made it sure they definitely will sure him as well as adding to their list of criminal offences.
Not to bright this kid
I'd say IT is going to one of the LEAST hit. I'm not seeing Oracle, Google, MS and Amazon crying they have no work.
Can't see the clients? If you don't know how to use video conferencing, file shares or even a phone then I wouldn't trust you to run my fucking IT.
Let's see who are a teeny bit more affected.
Shops
Pubs
Restaurant
Engineering
Sports and leisure facilities
Gyms
Construction and maintenance (and related services)
Tourism
Charities
Estate agents (no cheering please)
Car dealers
Cafes
Then there are all those that feed into those. Random businesses you don't even think about. Box makers, window cleaners, vending machine stockists, beer mat makers, printers, repair personell.
So quit the bleeding heart. IT is going to be one of the least hit.
Did you have Blue lights on?
No, then the law applies to EVERYONE.
Btw people that moan, do the maths on how much time you save doing 35 in a 30, then allow for normal start stop and slowing traffic, and you'll save ooooo couple of seconds?
And yes I have been done for speeding, but I'm grown up enough to admit I was at fault.
Oh ask the A&E department if they are happy about receiving a car accident victim because you "needed" to get somewhere 30 seconds earlier.
OH and BTW, as far as I'm aware, all speeding tickets are retrospective. Luckily AI hasn't started fining people who may speed....yet.
It's the Atari ST syndrome.
People thought it can't possibly have that much power in such a small package. So they made it feel like it had a lot of "stuff" in there. And slapped a load of unnecessary metal work in there. On the upside it did mean you could drop from a great height and still work.
This may not actually be true of course.
