Re: Actually ...
Ms Smith's house, is a very nice house in a very nice area. That sort of property doesn't pay for itself y'know.
But of course, she shifted her location a few miles in her election campaigns.

You can't a down vote, from I presume a former member of the royal engineers.
From the linked article above.
"...even charged the Royal Engineers thousands of pounds for useless cards that went missing from a trade fair at which uniformed members of the corps had been paid to help promote the bogus devices.
Bolton's device, the GT200, was also backed by British embassies in Mexico City and Manila, through the then Department of Trade and Industry.
"The involvement of UK government agencies in promoting this is very embarrassing and awkward," says Mr Sheldon, who was shocked to learn of the involvement of the Royal Engineers Exports Support Team. "
" didn't even know what EMUI was until I opened my Huwaei tablet."
Yet you've been using it all the time without knowing. It's all the background stuff you don't think about.
You do notice these things when you jump from one brand to another. EMUI is one of the less intrusive variations.
" that are trying to turn the US into a private enterprise. "
Sorry, but that ship sailed long ago.
When you have an election system that comes down to those with the most money to spend, it has no other option but to be corrupted by businesses with deep pockets.
Those evil commie* bastards are stealing our IP. This wouldn't happen in a capitalist county!
Now.
Those evil commie bastards have paid a large amount of money to legally own the IP, we can't allow that.
*China hasn't been a communist country for a long time. A single party authoritarian country yes. communist? nope.
" and is now on course to be one of the worst hit countries in Europe from a public health perspective too, "
Worse than Spain, Italy and Greece? I doubt it somehow. They are already asking for billions in handouts from the ECB, that's on top of their huge existing debt. If the airline and travel agencies fold and it goes on for a month or two more, that is their tourist industry killed off, a large percentage of their GDP.
...ask yourself, how many of these are also buying shares at rock bottom prices and will be raking it in by the end of the year?
Got a few million / billion to spare? Buy some oil / shares. Sit on it 6 months and get 50% return on investment.
Just don't invest in bog roll. Some people have about 5 years worth.
" looks a bit dated in 2020, thanks to its small 4.7-inch display and chunky bezels."
Oh no, something that isn't the size of a TV and doesn't shatter on the tiniest dink to a corner.
Next they'll be complaints it's 2 microns thicker than a rival phone, the camera is only 400gigapixels and you can't you can't use it when deep sea diving.
I.e. it's a phone for the majority.
Yup and the 3 months would be just working out how much they can inflate the price by, once they have won the contract.

"Curious.... why do you not use cellular data?"
1. They have no need for it?
2. They want to save money?
3. They don't want to be tracked everywhere?
Me personally, about 90% of apps have it disabled. Means I can have cheaper plan, less adverts and yes, less creepy tracking.
You're presuming there are fuses . Fuses are designed to protect from overload. If you are designing to very high standards, in theory you shouldn't need a fuse. In addition to this, a fuse blowing, could be just a catastrophic as having no fuse at all.
When you are traveling to space, every gram counts.
'I just delete them because when you try and report any of these scams, nothing ever happens. You file all the details and then you are told to talk to your lawyer."
Clearly you a)Not British or b) reporting it to some scam artist.
It takes 2 minutes to register a scam call and they even mention they won't contact you back.
People whine all the time about scam calls then do NOTHING to help stop them.
Can.we have the name of your directors. We'd like to send the enforcement notices to them. Jail time IS an option.
The rules on automated calls are in regulation 19, and are stricter. You must not make an automated marketing call – that is, a call made by an automated dialling system that plays a recorded message – unless the person has specifically consented to receive this type of call from you. General consent for marketing, or even consent for live calls, is not enough – it must specifically cover automated calls.
'Basically by not having analogue radios on sale on the high street with digital tuning. You can still buy analogue radios but only with analogue tuning"
Eh? Not sure what you're on about.
Yes analogue dial are common, but not the only option

And that ignores all the clock radios
