If I were to run an ad on Facebook, I'd just send them to a landing page for that advert. No more complex than that. Different one for twitter. Different one for the daily mail.

It's like the Facebook, Vero and Instagram links on my site, they are just a image set as a link. No tracking at all and the user knows no difference.

But how much can we rely on historical measurements (this goes for other things such a temperature as well). I'm sure their knowledge of how to take a measurement was good, but what about the actual equipment? What about things such as local temperatures say affecting the telescope itself?

Just factor in, these ups are most likely the same size as a small house. Where I worked, the back up generators were the size of two containers. And there were three of them. That's because the house sized battery plants (two of them), could only support the servers and ac for about 20 mins.
