So completely over the top, the incredibly minor change requires 4 hrs of admin, 6 reschedules (due to Dave being on holiday, the person didn't read it in time or the cleaners cousin found a puppy and needs to get a collar for it), 50 approvals, of which you will have to chase 49 of them at least 3 times, the endless "what does this bit mean (usually from some manager who wouldn't understand if you smashed them over the head with it written in crayon on a baseball bat) and finally, 5 minutes before you go live, it gets cancelled because Mary from accounts forgot she has an urgent appointment to attend (the hair dressers).
Oh did I mention you can't resubmit the thing again, for "security reasons" meaning you have to type everything all over again.

Actually they don't. I play World Of Tanks Blitz and when people were saying Wargaming were being insensitive promoting the Chinese premium tanks on the day, many of the Chinese players genuinely had no idea what everyone was on about. Some even said they heard it was when thousands of protesters attacked the military. Now of course some of these were bots and mouth pieces, but I feel many were genuinely confused.

Well you'll find that both solar and wind tend to be pretty poor in the winter, just when you need electricity.

It's because the fix has been published and therefore is easily reverse engineered. Until the companies using the product patch, then the issue is for all to see.
With closed source, attackers are not likely to reverse engineer until the patch is released.
Just to clarify, the article is about patched software and rollout, rather than bugs being found and not patched.

Currently using...
A mate 10 Pro bought second hand.
That replaced the P10 lite I had for 2 years, which I bought second hand, which is now my SatNav and music player in my car.
I'll no doubt go and play some games on my iPad Mini 3 which you guessed it, I bought second hand.
Or I may do some design work on my 7 year old pc, which you guessed it, second hand. Granted I did spend 30 quid on a SSD to massively improve the performance.
So feel free to buy your new shiney. Just look after it, I may want to buy it one day.
