Nice tax haven you have there...
.... shame we don't have the funds to keep that defunct satellite from smashing into the side of your office block.
If only we had some more tax payments from the 1%ers.

I'll tell Thailand they're part of China then, given my phone was made there (Sony). My TV seems to have been made in South Korea which I'm assuming is another renegade province...
And where did many of those components come from?
As soon as I see "Red" China, I know what sort of person is posting.
I was well known for being brutally honest, so I had to have my line manager as a translator.
Me: I can either fix the *****ING problem, or I can waste everyone's e *****Ing time, telling ****s who dont have a *****Ing clue what I do for a job, some information that's serves no ******Ing purpose.
Line Manager: He's working on the issue as we speak and I'll keep you updated on progress.
Heart is part of a conglomeration of "local" radio stations.
They general play the same bland, middle of the road sings, 80% of which are old classics (read the most overplayed records in history). Throw in some "wacky" presenters and you are good to go.
And when I say local, it's really a national radio company that just plays lip service with some local adverts and a couple of local news headlines.
Seriously, you couldn't get more dreary radio if you tried.
...think again.
Me: Can't login as it is saying account doesn't exist. If I try to recreate, it says account already in use.
G: You need to login and update your settings.
Me: Can't login as it is saying account doesn't exist.
G: Have you tried reset in the account
Me: Can't reset as it is saying account doesn't exist.
G: Try creating a new account with same credentials.
Me: Account already exists.
You know how this is going. It went through 4 teams of over 4 weeks "experts" before finally someone actually properly looked at the issue.
Oh did I mention this was a Paid for account?
Tell the media to shut up about constantly banging on about shortages. If the brain deads stop panic buying, we'd be OK.
OMG there is a shortage of Kellogs cornflakes! Well, buy that other fucking brand right next to them.
99% of the "shortages" just mean you have to buy a different brand, or (insert deity) forbid, you don't buy that item this week

"all have physically separate connectivity ( fibre or 4G dongle"
Oh you poor deluded fool.
Just wait until a digger slices between the trunk line of an exchange. Then you have a cascade fault, which means the alternative exchange, that your other carrier uses falls over. Then you realise your 4G is relying on the same fibre bachaul as has just been sliced.
It's OK you have a third link, but that alternative European link you have is now routing through another country, who just happens to have a big outage themselves.
If this sounds like fantasy, it's not. Had it happen..... Twice.
... How about a "I could of told you so".
That's why you have all your tools and documentation on a couple of laptops, that don't require online access.

My experience. Internal DNS went nuts and pretty took out the entire business. Luckily us telecoms guys had the ability jump on our kit, get going and let the server kids fix their fuck up.
