Odd because my last work actually had a recycling unit for computers, printers, monitors etc.
If you think they have hundreds of people sitting there taking them carefully apart you are misguided.
You take pc, remove battery, love whole lot in huge bit of machinery and few minutes later you have several piles of shredded metals, plastics and glass.
I mean I see hills, valleys and the river; cows, and sheep grazing in the fields, along with all sorts of wildlife. Seeing the odd steam train during the summer is a bonus. Granted being stuck behind a tractor for about 5 minutes is a real pain, but most these days can happily zip along at 40mph.
You know I had to wait a whole 10 minutes the other week due to roadworks.

Unlike the good ol' USofA, having you NI number out in the wild is nowhere as near as bad as a Social Security Number in the US. I have two autistic girls (FFS stop using that as a pretext for everything). One us an absolute sod for guessing / watching her mum's passwords, but neither of us have payments stored.
If they want to buy something in Roblox (they have grown out of it mostly), we buy a Roblox gift card and added it directly to the Roblox account. Same for Fortnite etc.
Next week, kids buy stuff because parents left their cards laying around.
