Pianos are very, very expensive (yes you could get an upright for £50, or even free), but then you'll find the tuning costs more than a new one.
You could pick up a 88 key weighted digital with sustain and damper for a a few hundred quid. But then throw in several thousand Pounds of lessons
My daughter is learning violin and that's close on a thousand a year....and that's just a"hobby".
So saying "poor" people aren't inclined is a lie. Poor people CAN'T.
Big difference.
