Am I only the only one....
...that don't understand some of the comments on here?
"For this price you can get a second hand completely different type of kit".
Guess what
For the price of a cheap new car, I can buy a dozen second hand motorbikes.

"President-elect Trump is yet to name the next ONCD Director"
That highly qualified cyber security expert, Kate. You know, the girl that does his spray tan. She gonna be so super good at it, because you know, well let me talk about North Korea, good leader Kimmy, that's what I call him, Kimbo. Gonna make him join back up with South Vietnam and then we'll make it part of America, just like we did back in the 60s. They were great times weren't they? The Beatles, great band, they made America great.
...be the turning point?
Meta collapses under AI creations no one wants (Instagram now is about 25% AI slop) along with advertisers pulling out once it, just like Twitter, starts sticking their adverts next to pure hate posts.
Google gets broken up by the courts, not just in search but in advertising.
OpenAI collapses once the Venture vultures start wanting cash back on their investments and stop keeping it going like some sick crack addict going back for another hit.
They'll be still lots of scummy companies still going such as Amazon, Twitter, Microsoft....
But hopefully by the end of the year a few getting a severe kicking will make those assholes take a step back.
...look we're investing $X Billion in <insert location>
No you're fucking not you bullshiting scumbags.
You're buying $ X billion worth of foreign made hardware, most likely assembled by an out of area team, put in a warehouse that may or may not use short term contractors to build it and then finally operated by 3 minimum wage security guards called Dave.
Without money printing and inflation, the US would have no option other than to default on it's impossible to repay deficit.
If you issue bonds in year X at a low rate of interest, when they mature in say 20 years, and there has been a modest amount of inflation, when it come to pay out for those bonds, the effect is far lower.
I wish I could find the video, but it goes into depth how you can easily take down legitimate music streams.
In short, you create AI slop music and set it to be monitised. You then can get bots to scan for similar sound pieces, issue an automated strike down. You then get a share of the "infringing" works revenue.
Then there are other YouTubers complaining they are getting takedowns for no real reason except a bot has created a copyright complaint and forced their video offline (even some of the biggest streamers have had this).
Then finally you have the scumbags like Teenage Engineering that issue copyright infringment for criticising their overpriced tat, just because you played a note from one of the instruments (yes read their T&C's, it's really scummy).
Copyright is a joke on YouTube, and they just don't give a shit.
Because of this.
Authorised Representatives
Authorised Representatives are individuals or businesses based in the EU that are appointed by manufacturers to perform certain tasks that are normally the manufacturers’ responsibility. Authorised Representatives must be able to provide the technical documentation that demonstrates compliance with the applicable regulations and directives as well as liaise with market surveillance authorities on issues that may arise such as product recalls or safety issues.
If you live in the EU, you are the contact. If you live outside the EU, you have to pay someone or a company to act on your behalf. They will ask for payment for pretty much every tiny difference in product design.
You're only fucked for four or five years
Due our racist pricks, the UK is fucked for generations
Before the pro-brexit assholes jump in, go find a small craftsperson / artist / business and ask they are coping with the new GPSR.
I know creatives that have just lost 25 to 50% of their business because the costs involved are more than any profit than they used to make. Some are looking at having to close up completely
Nice job guys.
...before ditching Prime, when I lived in a town most would be next day.
10 miles up the road, it was lucky if it was two days. And when it was next day, it was amazing how many times it was "Delivered", but when you found it wasn't and complained, you just got an automated "Give it a few days".
How the fuck can it have been delivered, but give it a few more days to arrive?
Stupid thing is, because the delivery is so shit, there is no point actually using Amazon anymore.
"investments that create jobs and spread wealth around?"
Approx $200 BILLION has been spent on this bollocks.
As for jobs....do you mean the 10's of thousands of people laid off by EXTREMELY profitable tech companies as they pivot to this?
Please, show how this "investment" is helping the non-existent trickle down economy.
They clearly thought they were paying for X simultaneous connections, but really there were ACTUALLY only paying for for X connections from the very same building.
If they wanted X connections, they would need to buy a load of Y connections, from multiple locations, for double the cost,
Yes I cancelled my for that very reason....and the fact its pretty much the same shitty content, just with a different name
I've a 512 GB SSD hooked up.to my P3 that I got for £10. Hooked up to a TV when I need to actually look at it's display.
So less than £40 spent, given it's a brand new SSD Takes up less room, uses less power and just works.
So please bang on about your thinkpad. But then again, when I listen to someone that has to use A/C "to protect their son's" identity". I know it's the sort of person that phones IT to clear a paper jam.
I'd add in any US military equipment, as seen by the US crippling the help Europe wanted to send to Ukraine.
Trump wants European NATO countries to spend more. No problem, France, Finland, Sweden, Poland and South Korea all make very good kit that we could by and use as and when we see fit, not when daddy says we can.
