Re: Spare parts for TWO WHOLE YEARS?

And even if you get the spares, the fact it's been thrown into a a giant tub of glue, to ensure all the parts are one big, impenetrable lump of unrepairable components, renders the spares pointless.

Re: Pam Bondi - Attorney General

That's why he put it in quotes.

IGotOut Silver badge

This is a tricky one.

The sentence was complete and utter bullshit and the judges were loaded against him.

Part of his sentence was due to him wanting to hire hitmen. The problem is, he was never arrested, tried, nor convicted for that crime. Yet the judge still used that in his summing up. Each judicial body pretty much went "nah can't be bothered".

So it was a complete fit up when it came to sentencing.

But should he be pardoned? Nope

The problem is, the rich get richer and the poor are told to blame the poorest, for all their problems.

I fucking hate these companies and their scumbag CEOs.

Yet people will still keep buying their shit, because it's easier. I admit I'm one of them, but slowly weeing my way off.

Other than the meta verse, I've never seen such collective indifference from not just ordinary people, but also the tech community.

The only people that give a shit, are those getting even more obscenely wealthy, the journalists that lap up, without question the bullshit those assholes spew out, and the public that just believe the slop that these spineless journalists pimp out, without question.

Re: Upside?

"as for investing, 3 fold return in 4 years is a pretty big upside, enough that the investors are almost guaranteed to break even and given they measure success by beating the index by a few bps"

Other than Nvidia, where did you get that figure from?

Are you suggesting that there is going to be OVER $600 billion ROI from these investments, given that Anthropic and OpenAI are making obscene losses, only kept going by venture capital funding.

They have no plans on how to make money, other than "you can do stuff"?

Simple, IP based adverts. The app doesn't need location data, but the advertising scum just base it on your IP address when pushing out the advert.
