You can still activate it for free using a Win 7 serial number.
For me Win 10 has become even more unreliable over the last few months. Blue screens, settings changing back to defaults from one day to the next. All on a fresh clean install, same hardware and had none of these issues before.
I now dual boot with Linux Mint which is way more reliable.
First world problems!
Been a runner since 1978. Never needed anything other than a simple Casio digital watch on my wrist.
Tried a Garmin watch - inaccurate and needless. Sent it back as it was so inaccurate.
Unless you're an Olympic class athlete, which 99.9% of people are not, you don't need one or any other over rated fitness tech.
"My phone's stopped working."

"One I had lying around as I was told. This one, here I've brought it with me."

"But I was told I could use any that fitted."
"Sorry, but paragraph 2,300, sub-paragraph 4,000 of the customer agreement clearly states that no responsibility can be accepted for damage caused by using an incorrect charger. However we are happy to replace your phone in exchange for £600-1500."
Whatever version of Windows 10 this guy is using must be missing the 'Settings' option.
I can't remember offhand which box(es) you untick to make all the stuff he's whinging about never appear.
All I ever see is a single UAC warning. That can disabled as well if you want.
A quick online search and you're done. Still he'll be too busy using this an oblique way to promote his 'app' to bother with all that work.
You'd expect a 'computer savvy' person like a developer would know this kind of basic stuff.
