One of the best. Splurted coffee over the keyboard at the end.

I worked for Rank Xerox and at the Business Efficiency Exhibition in the NEC in 1980 or 81 we had a demo suite of the Networked Star systems. To illustrate how a network would pass data between workstaions we had fluorescent tubes which flashed as something was done on one workstation then sent to antoher workstation for editing. These were sit down hourly shows. At nearly every session the comment would be passed " Oh I couldnt work in an office with all thos flashing lights!"
Reading the current list of un-committed voteholders I would urge anyone that is supportive of Public Benefit's campaign and uses one of those companies for their domain, to write to them requesting that, as a minimum, they publically affirm abstention or better still to vote for the EGM resolution. I have contacted the investors dept at Go Daddy with this request. Wondering what corporate speak reply I get!!
If only the ICO actually followed up on its own mandate and guidelines:

In a world of Bring your Own Device (Everything including desk and Chair) this should become the norm. Effort has been directed solely for the benefit of the Enterprise with no consideration for the rights of the individual. Why should I have my employer have access to all my personal data on my personal device?
Does the FCA have a definition of an Online Bank? If it's not available then they are no longer Online and ergo not providing Banking services. The blandness of response is not only staggering but also insulting. Get honest with your customers, it would improve trust. Feel that I have to vote with my feet, as soon as I can get online again!
