WHere is the paragraph about the effectivly BANned status is certain countries?

The article seems to forget the self-imposed non-issuing of this game in Belgium and The Netherlands.

Which just equals a BAN in other wording.

Which is an error within itself.

in (most) EU countries, buying any telephone with access to the network mandates personal registration with proof of identification. Burner phones are very difficult to come by.

Any Dutch company that provides communication between 2 or more persons/entities is by default required to log that basic information by LAW. Not logging it is already punishable. So yes anonymity is fleeting.

That's still too much for something that only serves files. Plus it sips to much juice. Looking for a max 35W system to run disks. The disks themselves already add 5W each when spinning.

How to ID?

when sending a copy of an ID is forbidden by the state?

Here only a few strictly defined groups are even allowed to ask for a copy of an ID:

- Government itself

- Approved Banks (having an active license in The Netherlands)

- Your employer when your contract falls under Dutch law

Outside if that verification of identity may only be done IN PERSON and the document may not leave your direct control/view.

The other solution would be to make it mandatory that all services like this ALWAYS and ONLY work "on premises"

all voice processed and stored locally

all decisions done locally

all home automation like tasks completed locally

then maybe fetch a text-only search result from an external service
