Those of you saying they diserve it, why? Apple delibiratly bricked (Or did somthing they knew would brick) the phones. If a third party app did it, and Apple said "were not fixing that" fine, but it didnt. It was Apple. They knew what they were doing.
Why should people not be alowd to unlock there phones? Greed, thats all. The phone is subsidised, but only from the contract. It just so happens that Apple then get money from AT&T for all call charges. Nokia don't et al, so dont give a Flying F*** if you unlock you phone, and nither do the networks, because they have there contract money in, so they have broken even (In theory)
I hope Apple lose, and lose big time. Apple are going down the tubes, one crap device at a time. There products are no longer cool, or the clever choice.

amanfrommar is not a text-bot. You should look at his other posts. He is very strange, but there is to much thought and refrence to both the artical and other posts to be a text-bot.
@Mac fans. Mac OS is only more stable because of the stranglehold Apple have over what gose on there machiens. If there was a Mac OS for PC's I would be as buggy, if not more so (Because of lack of expirience) than windows.
Talk to an electronic engineer or a softwere angineer and they will tell you that PC's mostly crash when somthing unexpected happens. Because most stuff run on Macs is made by apple and all the hardwere is made (or authorised) by them, this is much less likely to happen.
Genraly a crash happens when the PC is trying to do somthing, and it gets some data that dosent fit what was expected. The PC then tryes to use it and everything gose wrong. Computors are not alive, so cant just throw out or deal with anthing that dosent fit there expectations.

I used to work in a Boots store just after leaving Uni. For some reason the server for the store had been put in an office (Or the office had been put in the server room). People would walk in there to work and find it was too cold, so switch the AC off, then complain about how the system was so slow...
Also, I would like to point out that Bean Counters, dispite what people think, never have a say in what is spent. They will tell bosses how much there is to spend (I.E. how much is in the bank) and then leave them to it.

Actually there is allot of very radioactive material left. Very nasty stuff. As I remember the half-life of that stuff is about 1200 years, but then I haven’t done physics in about 8 years. I seem to remember that allot of it was thrown out and effectively most of the original building is pebbledashd in nuclear waste (Except not as spent as the stuff that normally comes out of reactors)
Id love to know what this magic software people keep going on about is that can automatically tell between a legal EBay item and an illegal one, and also the difference between music used on You tube as part of a legal posting (Under fair use) and an illegal one. Im sure Google and EBay would to.

So why not just buy the Vista one and load your own Linex Distro? I know it can be a pain, but its a principal thing, when it should realy be £70 (At least) Less.
As long as no Fake ID's were used I don't see how they can have done anything illigal. They drove up to the gate, were waved through and keped on driving. Not illigal. Not very funny though.

Why do they want this? The police dont get acess to Voters records, Council Tax or any of the other infomation on people thats not relavent to an ongoing case, so why this?
The only logical thing to do is to treat it just like other personal infomation they get when dealing with crime. I dont know what it is, but you can be sure they dont know where everyone in the UK even lives.

I totally agree. I love riding, but get realy annoyed by these idiots. I noticed it the other day, when I was in a friend’s car. We were going along at 60ish (No Thats not a euphemism for 80 it was actually about 60) and a Biker came past. He must have been doing 100+ two feet from the car, and nearly hit a pedestrian crossing. I got a torrent of moaning from the other people in the car about "Idiot Bikers"...
BTW to those people complaining about unfriendly bikers, bike to work some time. It will make you feel allot better. Everyone says hi, and you can almost always find a group to ride with, within the speed limit, at least for a few miles, all because they are people who use there bikes as tools not toys.

Hate to be pedantic, but is a Jap car, and they drive on the proper side of the road in Japan.
Also, Love it or hate it if youv'e ever driven one you'd know it is a very good car (But not to everyones taste). If you havent been in one and your just anti Nissans then get a life.

I think we have found some real common ground between most Muslims and Christians :-). It is rather tacky. Drawing attention to your faith with a poly ring tone isn’t exactly dignified is it?
Well most of the world gets on ok with sports betting. There is very good systems in place to prevent it. What is stopping them placing bets in other countrys through a third party at the moment? As it says in the artical the UK gets on just fine with Bookies in every town and a masive online sports beeint industry.
They are attacking two laws (data protection & Working time) which need tightening, not relaxing? Fool. Especaly as the Working time directev just says "You are not to work more that 48 hours per week, unless you want to in which case go for it". It needs tightening as at the moment most people are signing out of it because of the impication most emploiers give that it is a requierment of the job.
No. We are just not Naive enough to think that the kid won't get bullied. I wish him all the best, and wish we were in a world where he would be fine, but I know he will get 7 shades kicked out of him.
Also, It should be up to the kid to stand out if he wants, not for that to be thrust apon him by selfish parants.

2) You realy think that hiding you user name makes FA difference? No one could trace you from that.
3) The point is you back up your views and are willing to show they are yours. If someone dose find out these views are mine in a job search I am adult enough to stand up and accept the consequences of what I have said, especially if my view has not changed.

Reading through the comments it seems to me that alot of the people do know what they are talking about. They certanly know more that I do, but the what do I know. I only spent one term of my degree studying Radio and Optical Telecoms.
