One teeensy little 13-minute power cut, and WD you look at the size of that chip supply cut!

Re: Just 13 minutes

Got to love those turbopumps that deaccelerate rapidly when the sh1t hits them.

We use small ones (100mm) so the fan blades can withstand the gas load but we did have a larger one (400mm) a while back that suffered bearing coolant loss and literally "threw a wobbler" at 60,000 rpm.

I was watching from a short distance whilst the rest of the maintenance crew proved that five bodies could ̶s̶h̶i̶t̶ fit through one small door simultaneously.

BBC News Content.

I was unable to view any BBC News website video footage this year whilst on holiday in Crete.

Just a message informing me that "this content is not available in your country".

I am from the UK so what is the problem?

Plenty of adverts though on the "advert free" BBC News website.

I accessed Sky News for the fortnight I was in Crete and guess what, I now access Sky News every day instead of the BBC.

That went well didn't it !

My wife has the same problem with her $hitbit.

It is only a few months old and she has had enough of it not functioning as it should.

It is going back to the shop where we bought it from and she is going to demand her money back as it is not fit for purpose under the Sale of Goods Act (UK).

Under UK law they have to refund her.

She is then going to buy a Polar.

13 Amp Fuses.

They failed to mention that we in the UK are now being flooded with counterfeit 13 Amp mains plug fuses that do not "blow" when an overload occurs. Some of them do actually "blow" but do so explosively completely shattering the plug and showering the immediate area with hot sparks that could in theory start a fire.

My policy is to never go there.

My policy is to never go there, I have been told that the country is fantastic but is spoiled by the Americans.

Well you can keep it as I will not go there not even when requested to do so by my company on the previous five occasions when they needed me to go.
