This is a mutually exclusive situation.

It beggars belief that the fools who created this system ever assumed that the driver would be "Fully Attentive" when the vehicle is on "Autopilot" - the very name implies mutually exclusive conditions.

The creator of the simulation has coded specifically for us, the simulated, to be unable to detect, by any means, the bounds or edges of the simulation. As such, we are only empowered to contemplate that such things may (or may not) exist, but we have have no power to prove our contemplated (un)reality.
