HP CEO talks up HP-ink-only print hardware and higher upfront costs for machines that use other cartridges

Canon

I have a Canon MX492. You can refill the cartridges and there is a little routine you do once (IIRC Canon even tells you how to do it) and it'll use the 'empty' cartridges forever. Plugs up sometimes but then I bought a $100 Ultrasonic cleaner to clean the old ones and with the cartridges costing $40 to $50 each around here that gets paid for real quick. (And I can use it for cleaning old carburetors too.)

Looking back before we get there

The most interesting part of this is that Huawei has managed to steal technology from the future. Because the Chinese are utterly incapable of inventing anything on their own they must have gotten into America's technology future and stolen their 5G stuff from there so they can use it now before the Americans catch up to themselves then and realize that they were going to invent it sometime but Huawei got a hold of it before they could invent it. Who says these Chinese aren't clever?

I use Brave all the time until there are so many tabs open in the one row you are allowed that they get all squished together and are impossible to read. Then I go for Palemoon.

MX16

Try MX16. Mint has gone goofy for me on both of my computers and been replaced by MX16. No systemd - xfce4 - and makes devuan look like a vanity project. YMMV
