A case of pickiness
Isn't it more impressive that the camera survived the same fall...without the protective case...and continued filming...?

The top of the range Vaio Z series notebooks have dual SSD drives - 256 GB in a RAID array. Well, they describe it as being two 128 GB drives per unit, and two units per machine although I get the impression from the forums that this just complicates matters.
Mind you the machine is >£3000 so not exactly a price/performance "sweetspot"...
I know it's not easily used by the billions of web users out there but Sandboxie has proved to be a wonderful program for me. It can easily be used to sandbox a browser, including firefox, and as far as I humbly know, prevents the siege of nasties. Is this an exploit that circumvents my primary guardian, NoScript? Or is this a dodgy enterprise intending to pimp half-baked exploits?
Doesn't the average human being have a higher average "energy density" than the core of the sun. Or is that different from heat generation? - hell it's in Wackypedia so it must be true. The core of the sun has a pretty low, "specific energy" doesn't it?
Cripes, it may me just want to sit in an icy bath of water to think I could be responsible for spawning interdimensional beings.
I have an HTC touch pro 2. It has a camera on one side and a touch sensitive screen on the other. Surely one of you clever programmers can turn it into a Magic Mouse? Camera senses motion while face down (hmm, might need some more illumination) - heck - it could even detect rotational motion. And, the touch screen serves as mouse button and swiping surface. Interacting beautifully with PC using bluetooth.
And it's also a mobile phone, and a storage device. And a computer.
Just a thought.
We recently bought the bottom-of-the-range Roomba for cleaning our flat. We have wooden floors throughout, and the sucker gets switched on 2-3 times a week, just before I leave for work. It cleans just fine, and stops the onslaught of the dust bunnies. It's not a turbine-toting monster but a little-and-often really does the job. They should definitely program it to run & hide when the kids are around, though.
