SMB1 is disabled as a Feature in 1803 but only for new installs, not for upgrades. Just reactivate it and it works...

aaand it's fixed.
For NAS-Boxes, Qnap for example has a block-level-LVM-snapshot and that is reserved so even if the ransomeware writes your share to the limit, the snapshots are safe (this is where Windows VSS will fall on it's face).
and when the last company has moved to „software-centric“ and „cloud“, they will find out that their stuff still requires metal to run...
