You can write unsafe code in any language
I am highly confident that microsft will find a way to write Rust code that is both unsafe and inefficient.

The difference between the two, though enormous, might be too subtle for some to grasp I suppose, but there's a not so small difference between the two. I know you might think they are the same and I can understand why, but there is a huge difference, really, you can trust me on that.
A literal upvote to you and I do mean **Literal** because I just upvoted your comment.
Too many morons using the word "literal" and "literally" with no understanding of what those words stand for. As usual in most morons they don't know that they are morons and rebel when exposed, they throw downvotes at you because as morons that's all they can do. A very sad situation!
So, she is yet to be fired, why the rush to sue? Well, acting preemptively never hurts, I guess.
Maybe she believes ther's a chance she can keep her job, she's to fired only in September after all, if she acts fast perhaps she can avert the process.
if that supplier were Oracle.
The number of points of failure is completely irrelevant, what is relevant is that oracle has lost that is what really matters to them, never mind that the competition is better than they are.
oracle is bad loser!!!!
but no, they lack the power, microsoft can no longer do things like that. Microsoft's current strategy is to ride along and grab as much as they can, which means they will be able to grab a lot. And, when feasible, steer the process towards microsoft's goals, of course.
Linux offers opportunities to make money and at microsoft they want to take as much of that money to themselves as they can, each penny of it should go to microsoft that is their goal. Microsoft people are taking positions making sure an increasing share of Linux money is channeled to microsoft's coffers.
Azure is now front and center to Microsoft's strategy, Azure is Microsoft's growth business.
Windows' role is increasingly an ancillary one it's there to pump up revenue through Azure, Microsoft wants windows to perform that role as cheaply and reliably as possible. Microsoft does know a thing or two about business.
It's not worth your time, you're doing OK, you really don't need to understand that garbage, no one needs, there's nothing in there that needs understanding. REALLY!
Why start your day wasting time in an effort to take that garbage seriously? There are more productive ways to start your day.
Had he followed the apple approved way of pressing the brightness controls nothing wrong would have happened, that user should have paid attention to apple's instructions. Ignore apple's special instructions, pay for it!
It's all the user's fault, got what he deserves!
Their designers take great care to ensure that the end user gets misdirected to make the right choice not the choice the user wants to make. The real objective is to lead users to unknowingly accept terms that are unfavorable to them but are very attractive to the corporate interests that control the process.
Some people find it too hard to take and break down, as a result the victims often display symptoms that are very similar to those caused by hallucinogenic drugs when, in fact, no real chemical drugs are involved.
Unfortunately there's no escape, irony overload is always at play when big red comes to mind, there is simply no way around that, you cannot escape the severe effects of high class (or low class depending on your perspective) irony when you're dealing with big red.
The US is pretty much the bully here, as it usually is almost everywhere, a powerful bully; Huawei is pretty much powerless against such a powerful opponent, there's not much Huawei can do, behaving in a unapproachable way and keeping quiet is their best shot at survival.
I wish I could say the same about FedEx's action but I can't, I really can't, no matter how hard I try I can't, FedEx's action cannot be attributed to incompetence, NO WAY. It looks like a duck, it swims like a duck, it quacks like a duck, its mother and father are both ducks. I'd say FedEx's action is probably a duck, most certainly a duck.
Russia has been dealt a tough hand, a legacy of problems contribute to Russia's economic situation, a situation that would be much worse had the Russians been fool enough to get swindled by the great amercan con.
At least to Trump that's how it is, America is immune to International law. As a matter of fact the tiny fingered loofa-faced shitgibbon emperor of america goes even further, trump consider's itself personally immune to all laws, be them International law, American Imperial law, Congress law or any other law.
Give trump a law and the loofa-faced emperor wipes its ass with it, trumps does not care for the law, even the laws that trump made get the wipe ass treatment .
Some in america are beginning to panic, trump's decision to ban Huawei marks the end of an era, it is a landmark.
Finding it harder and harder to compete with your nimbler and much more talented rivals, find it difficult to pit your inferior products against those of your rivals? Play dirty. Doesn't seem to work the way you'd like it to work? Play even dirtier.
Quite often things like this end in a bad way, in a bad bad way. Unintended consequences start playing and then... sometimes empires fall, get replaced.
That's the way it is, starts slow, gains momentum, and then...
Where once they could pop ten ads in a split second now they will be able to pop fifteen ads and a half, maybe even more if they improve the technique further, they are working on it.
That's really great!
Trump's ideal world would look like this: 1) Trump on the receiving end of socialism and Trump on the sending end of capitalism; 2) All others on the sending end of socialism while simultaneously on the receiving end of capitalism.
That's Trump's vision and to him it looks beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I suspect Trump will not be able to execute fully on his vision but he's trying hard to get it done, you cannot blame Trump for not trying.
A country (ideally the whole world) of socialists working harder and harder for the benefit of the only capitalist left standing: Donald Trump.
It would be way too much for your or for me to pay such a sum of money but not for iApple, in this case one billion dollars seems a pretty fair sum, iApple can pay that money very very easily.
iApple routinely pays astronomically high sums of money for no reason so now that there is a fair and very good reason for them to pay why would they balk at it?
Just look at how much much iApple pays tim cook and others, if iApple can so generous with some why would they behave like a scrooge with Bah?
In the old one all would be different, very very different, definitely!
But things are not the same anymore, this is a much changed america this is trump's america, trump can do whatever it wants: pussy-grabbing, golden showers, ostensible lying, the list goes on and on. You name it and trump can do it if trump wants.
