Time To Boost "Userbase" Numbers?

I've gotten a glut of emails from Broadcom about migrating to their portal, which I imagine will be used to show just how great of an idea the acquisition was due to "increased number of active broadcom account registrations".

Jokes on them, our partner vendor is getting hit with requests for alternatives, as they admitted when they were not at all surprised by my request.

We've checked the costs a few times over the past years and every time it has been cheaper to run things on-prem.

I blame the steep federal discounts for on-prem and much less for online.

If you give complete control of regulation of an industry to stooges of that industry, generally things don't go great for people that aren't making money off of it.

Oracle isn't "too big to fail", it is "too big to care".

Especially at large established companies, you really need to expect them to treat you like an easily discarded wheel.
