Kepler krunch koming: Super space 'scope's fuel tank almost empty
Note, the fuel on board is only for manoeuvring and not the overall operation. So, the scope can continue to function indefinitely, it just can't manoeuvre. Maybe the question should be, what is the most interesting part of space to point at before the thrusters die? So we can at least continue to study that area.

Memo to Microsoft: Windows 10 is broken, and the fixes can't wait
Even today I went to open a PDF file and for some reason Windows tried to open it with Edge. I've never used Edge and never want to. I've always used Adobe to view PDF files, so why the change?
Not to mention Windows keeps trying to set Bing as my search provider no matter how many times I try to disable it. It's like a constant fight to keep MS from taking over my computer.
Not to mention the Microsoft update virus that deletes all your files. We need protection from MS now.
Lo and behold, Earth's special chemical cocktail for life seems to be pretty common
It's not just the chemical composition but the ratio of water to land, what meteors have hit the planet, how many moons there are, the distance from the sun, the type of sun, the region of the galaxy the solar system is in, the type of core the planet has, what it's mass is and rate of spin, whether the planet wobbles, how stretched it's orbital path around the local sun is, and the distance from the sun etc etc.

Security co-operation unlikely to change post Brexit, despite threats
Re: Veiled threat
Far be it for me to criticise the sensationalist title of the article, and I'm not trying to be pedantic, but wouldn't this title be more honest?
Security co-operation unlikely to change post Brexit, despite veiled threat
The reason I say this is too often I click on an article to find out why the title is what it is, only to find that it has been sensationalised beyond reasonable logic. True news doesn't need to be sensationalised to be heard.
Re: The good things...
I've noticed that those that want Brexit understand what Brexit means (or are at least satisfied with the definition they've accepted) and those that don't want Brexit don't understand what Brexit means.
Perhaps that is why people voted to Remain, because they don't understand what Brexit means.
