How their GDPR ignorance could protect you from your denial

But none of it will.mean anything if the authorities don't bother to enforce it,just as the author pointed out in the article, this just reminds me of all the new strict banking laws bought in after the crash, but the system is still only staffed by two 18 year olds.

I suspect that is precisely what will happen, thousands of cases in which companies etc should be prosecuted but won't be and it will only be the odd case that the authorities involved, probably because some firm pisses off the wrong person with connections..

Microsoft's in-store Android looks desperate but can Google stop it?

It would be nice to see he e.u hand down the same kind of punishments to Google as they did to ms years ago,but it probably won't,Google better at lobbying and bribes than ms where..

It's about time Google got a good kicking from regulators somewhere, they have got away with their Hillsborough for far too long..

Re: Seen this before

I used to be site gardener on a big it/com's site,I got to know the in house it admin and his crew (useful for advice and freebies, their hardware skip was amazingly productive!!)

I was given written instructions that when on morning litter pick/site inspection to keep eyes open for Ian sticks etc and if found take them to only one guy in the it crew,it turned out their idiot co-employees kept "finding" Ian sticks etc in car parks etc and then just plugging into anything but their own machines to see what or who's data they had found, the it guy showed me the box that was half full of "compromised" sticks, some of which he reckoned did not contain the kind of malware etc that you would expect to pickt up from even the most "esoteric" porn site,he had a totally UN-connected bodge pc locked in a cupboard, which was used to check the sticks etc,he reckoned it must be one of the most badly infected machines he knew of,even though they used to flash a fresh image back to it every so often, and another box of sticks an bits the crew had removed from machines or folk and the state of some that folk had tried to plug in,usually having bin driven over a few times from the look of them !!

He reckoned that folk trying things like that had made them so much extra work that they ignored orders not to and blocked every Ian port in they could find in the entire building of three big floors !!2500 + machines, they reckoned to get away with it by pointing out how much money/time would be saved not having to firefight their co-workers idiot behaviours...

VMware, Citrix to have a crack at desktops on docked smartphones

The desktop android part is ten years old,you could do it with the legendary HTC hd2,instead of a dock you just needed a powered usb port to plug kb/mouse into..

It's too late, your not going to get anything changed, fuhrer May and her ilk have already decided, those who voted the Tories in at the last joke election knew precisely what they were voting into power, far too late now,.most of you will be on the list to get hit with the next set of tax rises, which will get pushed through no matter what they "promised" in their manifesto, the poor people in the UK are almost tapped out as an income source for the govt,so all you nice white middle class Tory voters are next on the list, and look at all the goodies and freebies you have to be taxed and to be cut..

If you thought 33% basic tax was bad in the 70's-80's,just wait until the govt decides that they cannot hang on an longer and push through massive grabs on your unearned, stolen wealth..

Also classed as fakes are those goods that are from night shift makers, using spare parts or those that failed "quality control" for the day shift lines..

How do you tell the difference when everything about a product is correct, even it's serial numbers etc ?

Is it a fake ?

El ref, seems to be a bit behind the times, the UK government has a whole fleet of com's interception and monitoring aircraft, come to sunny Watford and you can watch them taking off from RAF northolt everyday,we have at least 4 bn islanders that take it turns to float per London,24/7,that old caravan is used sometimes, but we also have some other twiin engine hobbies that are similar to the Cessna caravan but have massively extended wings(front to back) almost twice the size of "normal" wings..

Northolt is a very intetestig field to watch, you never know what or who you are going to spot using it,half the real "vip's" that fly into the UK use it,saves them having to mix with hoi polio at public fields/airports...and is also very close to gif courses, which comes in handy for American presidents...
