I used Kodi for a time having fun trying new skins/builds but found too many buffering issues probably due to my slow internet at the time. I got better results with apk's such as Mobdro and Terrarium Tv which are free and gave me all the content I myself needed. I also have subs for Netflix (11.00 dollars canadian for 4 devices) and Curiosity Stream (8 bucks a month), and just recently bought a sub for SET TV (20 dollars a month for 3 devices) which I love. I have updated my internet since that time with no buffering problems. Streaming is legal here in Canada and in the US but not downloading the content that parts illegal so I was told, not sure about the UK. I use a box I got from DroidBox UK which came with barebones Kodi installed but I don't use.
