" a leak proof douchebag"

No one needs a douchebag at all.

Good luck building a VR PC: Ethereum miners are buying all the GPUs

What card was he looking for?

This is a big problem, especially for AMD cards at the moment, however, due to the price point NVIDIA's 1080 and 1080Ti should be available. For high end gaming and VR they'll give better performance than any AMD card at the moment, the 1080Ti is hands down the best card available for those uses. Cryptocurrency miners generally don't use them because the diminishing returns for mining make buying slightly cheaper AMD cards a better investment. Obviously this won't help if the 1080 series is outside of his budget but if not those are the cards he should be buying anyway.

"where he bought his Dualphone about a year ago"

Why would anyone buy kit that's already been announced is going to be unsupported? It's not like there aren't perfectly good alternatives.

Who's the product? You are!

I can't believe in 2017 we still have to say this. If something is free it means the company providing it is using you as their product. They don't do it out of the goodness of their hearts and you don't need to trawl through someone's EULA to know that. Unless a company is stating upfront that they're not going to sell or pass on my data I always assume they're selling it as much and as fast as possible.

This already exists, Roll20 offers this service for free already and has quite a large player base. On top of that they offer this for a huge array of games not just WOTC stuff.

Not gloating

Got mine this morning, sounds like this may be a retailer/carrier issue rather than Nintendo.

Microsoft phone support contractors told to hang up after 15 minutes

BS on the 250 calls per person per day. I worked in a retail call centre where the average call length was 3 minutes. On my most busy day I think I could just about hit 130 calls in an 8 hour shift. No way in hell anyone got 250 a day much less if they're spending 15 minutes per call... That's four calls per hour so averaging 30ish calls assuming they break for lunch.

Good Point

Speaking as the author of a set of T&Cs for a hyrbid cloud company it would be nice if someone read them once in a while.
