Several aviation experts have said that if either of the Boeing 737 Max incidents had occurred with a pilot with a level of training typical of western airlines, the flights would have been recoverable.
This article suggests otherwise.

How does anyone store that amount? as for getting it all back......
I pulled down ~500GB from Dropbox with no issue (I replaced my old discs and thought I'd see if I could actually restore). It was however a bit slow, I never saw much beyond 150Mbs used on my 500Mbs connection despite using GigE.

I've been using a Synology NAS for a few years now. In addition to serving files, it can also run databases, webservers, docker containers etc. It's got a quad core Intel CPU and 8GB of RAM which is roughly equivalent to servers I was putting into an HPC cluster a decade ago.

Back in school, lunchtime was climbing club, one of the older pupils had tied himself off so he could make sure the younger climbers were tied on before they abseiled down. The fire alarm went off and the guy up the top of the wall completely froze. The teacher got us to all get out and then attempted to coax him down. Eventually we were told it was just a drill/test, it had taken all that time to get the guy down off the wall...
The teacher moved into IT when he was done in the classroom so may even read - waves!

One other thing to think about - Bandwidth and/or compression. If we assume that the 25Mbs that Netflix says you need for their pre-compressed 4K is accurate then there would be addition latency for compression or you'd need a much bigger pipe.
Can someone in the field confirm my hunch?
