A friend used to be an armed response copper. He would routinely “fail” CRB checks as the normal clerks couldn’t access his record. This “failure” caused a bit of a fuss at a school; until he got the headteacher to query it and tell the person on the phone to get their supervisor to check instead which then meant it came back clean.

The damage was so great that even a novice radiography would be able to spot it. Being a scientist turned geek I naturally researched what they did and it appears I received the current "gold standard" treatment.

Sadly the fallout from this will hurt the people who actually need animals for support. Last time I was back in the UK I noticed a few places had signs on the disabled loos saying that not all disabilities are visible; the fact they're needed suggests that some disabled people have been on the receiving end of some horrible abuse.

Financial Vs Product engineering?
The Trump tax plan means Juniper will repatriate $3bn, which it will spend on acquisitions, business investment, “return of capital to shareholders” (by way of a $2bn share buyback) – oh, and there's a hint of more layoffs in the works, with a threat/promise to “increase operational efficiencies” through the year.
How about investing the money in new products that customers want to buy. If they did that then maybe revenues would rise in the longer term.

Fake data to strava is relatively simple I believe.
Yep, there's an API and also it lets you upload gpx tracks (which are just XML files containing latitude, longitude, height and the time in UTC). Pretty much any reader of this Esteemed Organ would be able to knock something up in no time.
You could even could even claim you ran from London to Paris in 2 hours... ->

Water movement?
These bombs were loaded with TNT. They could be transported fused because the design included a propeller mechanism at the front which only screwed the fuse into position as the bombs fell from an aircraft.
Would (has?) water movement from tides and currents also activate the "propellors"?

My main hobby is photography, and I can't really think of managing, processing and printing my photos from a phone or even a tablet. Too small screens, lack of proper applications
Adobe Lightroom is surprisingly useful and fast on an iPad. You can do 95%+ of what you need on it. They just need to fix the workflow* bit so you don't end up with duplicated photos or having to manually delete photos off the tablet.
*I keep all my photos on a NAS, so haven't played with their newish creative cloud storage yet, this may have improved things dramatically.

make the staff cleanup their crap files from five years ago because "we might need that!". Twats.
For us in genomics/imaging land, that doesn't help hugely as we'd only get rid of 10-20% of our data. You also come up against the trump card of "regulator/auditor" might want to see this; which is quite hard to argue against.
