I know one person who trained themselves to use a mouse with their left hand (it took them a week, they tell me) so they could swap every hour.

I had some tendonitis in my fingers a few years ago from [computer] mice and also the automated pipettes in cell culture. I started switching hands quite often for both tasks which appeared to sort it.

Was this done for the beta versions? I'd assume that companies like Jamf, Mobileiron etc would test the betas with their software; especially because IOS devices nag the users to update.

Admittedly n=1 but my work phone hasn't had any issues.

I haven't heard of any colleagues having problems either.

You're assuming that this wasn't the intention. In these days of Twitter storms, creating an "adult", racist, sexist etc. advert seems to be quite an effective* way of getting your message out.

It seems that the ASA is very slow to look at this kind of advert. By the time they act the advert is off the TV/not viewed as much on Youtube. Do they need to be given the powers to act more quickly?

I notice that London's murder rate for a recent period surpassed New York's. Weapon of choice in London seems to be a knife, which limits the ability for mass muder. But it does illustrate that those with murder in their heart will find a way.

You should always (ideally) own (your) music with no copyright protection, on physical media.

Why the need for physical media? You can buy downloads in decent quality these days with no DRM and it's much more convenient than having hundreds of CDs taking up space.

The fastest trains in the UK (excluding Eurostar) can move up to 60metres a second. That doesn't give you much time to move out of the way of the train (and at the speed the train will have moved quite a long way before the driver even begins to brake).
