Car Play
I just purchased a 2020 Lexus, it requires usb for Apply Car Play. How will that work in 2021? I’m sure Lexus isn’t updating old cars.

A fellow admin I worked with 10 years ago was told by a senior manager he needed to immediately know the last three times a critical production E25k domain was rebooted. Admin logged in to the domain mid-day and issued,
last grep reboot
Which we all know is not the same as,
last | grep reboot
Or as safe as,
last | grep boot
We wound up having to open a case with Sun to determine why the domain ‘crashed’ mid-day. They never found the root cause....
I bought my first smart TV in July. Sony 75 inch XBR 4K. Looks amazing. Runs Android. I can't believe how often I have to reboot the TV to get it to work. Probably every week, or at least twice a month. YouTube and pbskids stops working. The voice search stops working. Changing inputs from hdmi1 to hdmi2 starts to take 10 seconds. Only a 5 minute reboot clears it up.
I can't wait to see what car manufacturer thinks it's a good idea to use Android.
In the past 10 years I have had children and resolved to change all the batteries in all the detectors every 'fall back' I haven't had one low battery chirp. Yes it might cost $20 a year in batteries, but the thought of explaining why someone died of smoke inhalation because I forgot to replace the batteries isn't a conversation I would want to have.
