Speed limiters arrive for all new cars in the European Union

bdeluca

I would love to know how it operates here, between villages in my EU country there is no speed posting increasing the speed (to 90kmh). There is also no speed limit sign when entering the village and the speed drops to 50kmh. Only inside villages, to reduce the speed lower than the default speed and then increase it again. These occur near schools, or the centre etc.

I have been slowly updating openstreet view with the correct speeds, but the GPS/map data is not very correct. Am I meant to fight the car? The whole country is like this.

Yeah, great tests, these; great test of upper-management or HR gullibility.

really the answer to the log files files up the space is to disable logging?

Have you ever thought about working with the devs to scope it better, or you just bann things that might cause an inconvenience. We log to the database, which consumes 10x times the resources, I guess you want to pass the buck to the dbas.

if you are acting like this you are the problem, you would be fast tracked to performance management if you worked for me.

Take ownership of the problem, work with others find a solution.

Re: Last Chance To See

Air france initially refused to let me travel on a flight from singapore to paris on an Italian passport because I didn't have a visa to France. They wanted me to buy an ticket to Italy.

After many hours of arguing the finally decided that I could fly. So many WTFs that day.

The shocks have happened yet, with cameron failing to exercise article 50.

The next shocks will be

- Article 50

- The EU blocking EEA membership without free movement.

- The first of the large companies to announce closing/downgrading their UK office.

- The formal announcement of recession.

- Scotland announcing the independence vote.

- Scotland's independence (I am 50-50) on that actually happening.
