You can get a mechanical keyboard for £45. But should you? We pulled an Aukey KM-G6 out of the bargain bin

For what it's worth, I got an Element Gaming Beryllium keyboard about 5 years ago for £50 - still clacking away happily. Supposedly has red switches. The only "fault" is that the blue LED behind the "V" key has died. To me it feels an awful lot nicer than any membrane keyboard I've ever used

I think you found out why it didn't have SP3 installed!

Re: Why would you upgrade?

Yup - I'm running a 4th gen i5 and even the latest chips only offer something like 30-40% performance increase, but it'll set me back north of £500 for a compatible board and RAM. Just not worth it.

Re: Conspiracy theory.

My S8 is currently patched to 1st August running XEU firmware - they seem to be getting better at releasing patches. I ended up flashing my old S6 to unbranded BTU firmware because EE hadn't updated theirs for months.

I'm glad they're doing better. My first proper PC builds were AMD powered (Athlon 64 era) and ATI graphics cards. Will be good to see some more competition between Intel/AMD/Nvidia

Don't want to upgrade to Windows 10? You'll download it WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT

Fury556

I've found this is essentially blocking one of our clients Win7 non domain PCs. IT has important and optional updates to install, has never requested and even removed all the GWX files but it will begin downloading windows 10 setup files as soon as you ask it to install any update for the system. It seems like the only way to get the updates is to let it download Windows 10 which is beyond stupid.
