The tweet says 75 million computers are actually running Windows 10. If it was just downloads, they probably would have said that. Even if it was downloads, it's still impressive.

Same here. I originally had Vista on my old 2009 Samsung laptop and got a free Win 7 disk thrown in. Windows 10 runs like a champ on it now.

You do know that Windows 8.1 and even Windows 7 phone telemetry home. Pretty much every modern OS does.
