Re: Recurrence
Romesh Ranganathan did a travel documentary to Rwanda. What struck me, and he also brought it up, was that there was NO litter. No matter where he went there was nothing on the ground.
I think it was once a month that they had national clean up Saturday. Everyone had to help out.
I live in the Netherlands, and it's just the same here like back home in the UK - shit everywhere!

Work for you? Again? After you lied about the job and stole my stuff? No thanks

What about the Russian neo-Nazi's, or are they "good guys"? https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/oct/02/pro-kremlin-neo-nazi-militia-inciting-torture-murder-ukrainian-prisoners
When you country is at war and at risk of being annihilated, then you can't be picky who fights for you.
Alexie Navalny once said in an interview, that he would listen to these groups also. His idea was that everyone has a voice and it's his job to listen and try to work with everyone.
IBM Software tells workers: Get back to the office three days a week
Oh dear! A place of work should not be like the way you manage it - you clearly don't understand the role of a manager. I've seen micromanagers (like yourself) in action, and you are usually too paranoid about what your employees are doing, instead of focusing on your own job.
How can you possibly run a team if there is no trust? Just because you can't see people in the office doesn't mean that they aren't working.
We work in an industry that is 24/7. For a lot of us IT professionals, 9 to 5 just does not cover the hours that we are called upon to work, from the office or at home. People like you just don't understand that.
And there is no place in work environment for bullying, narcissism, nepotism, etc, etc.... basically a lot of the negative traits that you are displaying in your post. People like you should be routed out and fired. Employees in every industry have put up with a lot of shit from people like you and it's time that changed.
Fujitsu pulls the plug on European client PC sales
Re: Pity ...
They are the main supplier to Canon for clients & servers, and it's the worst hardware I've ever worked with. The brand new laptops are truly abysmal and their support is a waste of time.
Their support web site looks like it hasn't been updated in over a decade, and I think that shows how Fujitsu is going. Saying that, Canon isn't much better.

For password protection, dump LastPass for open source Bitwarden
The writting was on the wall for some time now
I switched from LastPass to Bitwarden years ago. You could see this coming after the take-over and service failures.
Also had the misfortune of working for two companies that used LP, and my fellow IT colleagues refused to see the problems with it. I didn't stay long with either company because their security practices were a joke and used such weak passwords they should have just left the front door open
