It seems highly likely that the market leader in Smartwatches is Garmin. Their watches have a specific purpose (fitness, activity) with only a nod to 'smart' features (notifications, calendar) and battery life of 2 weeks or more.

Their value outweighs the attention you need to pay them (constant charging) even if you only use a few features.

BT blames 'faulty router' for mega outage. Did they try turning it off and on again?

Apparently they did restart the router, but they didn't wait 30 seconds before turning it on again.

Alas poor m0n0wall, I knew him...

When I used m0n0wall, I was staggered by just how good it was. It has spawned a whole generation of software-based firewalls and routers and shown us what was possible for relatively little configuration effort and skill compared to -- let's say -- a Cisco router.
