95% of what is on the beeb is throwaway trash TV. Happy to only psy for the 5% that isn't time filller TV. If this means waiting and subscribing for 1 month a year and watching it all in one go, that works too.

Windows 10 loses aero too.. So its more like XP, just with loads of ways to sell you things baked in.
How do you think Microsoft are going to "give" you a "free" upgrade... Expect it to be like Ubuntu horrible amazon search integration, but impossible to turn off...
Also expect Microsoft to count installs but not subsequent uninstalls.
He uses his login details elsewhere and that elsewhere got hacked. How is that Sony's problem?
I'm no legal expert either but if someone is stupid enough to use the same login and password in multiple places, then they are pretty much setting themselves up for trouble. None of which is Sony's problem.

WIndows 10 seems to be all about turning back the mistakes of WIndows 8.
Windows 10 seems to be Windows 7 with Metro, if you want to use it (insanity?) and loses the Aero interface, and aload of guff that means I can talk to an imaginary assistant, and have a browser than is a good now as Chrome was 3 years ago.
I think i'll pass....
Are you prepared to pay for it after the first year? Yep. That's the small print. You are moving your operating system from a pay once, keep forever model, to a rent model.
You get Windows 10 for the first year and then you pay for it yearly, like Office365.

You can bet they have tried to retaliate by looking at chrome os code, but not found anything..
The key point is that you can force 2factor auth by group policy. Yes you can send a link, but it's useless, you need to know the account password, AND your browser to have the 2nd auth token.
This totally eliminates the threat of unauthorised remote access to your documents and emails, which is how sony pictures got owned... Idiot CEO could have emailed plaintext passwords internally to his hearts content..
