Grand Theft Auto 1997: 'Sick, deluded and beneath contempt'

I found the first game fun but ludicrously difficult - and that soundtrack was bloody brilliant!!

I returned to the franchise with GTA 3 but since then the series just hasn't held my attention, I'm afraid. I'm still hankering for a proper current-gen version of Carmageddon, with all of the glorious violence and fun that goes with it. I don't care for the gangsters, prossies and butch criminal nonsense.

I'm afraid to say that I wouldn't touch another Xperia with a barge-pole after witnessing my other half's Xperia Z fail spectacularly in several key areas - notably the charging pin/slot snapped (an issue which, if you google it, has happened to many, many Xperia Z owners), the 'scratch resistant coating' got horribly scratched and started to peel, a system updated completely screwed it until Sony finally decided to fix it after about 3 months and the final nail in the coffin recently was that the screen cracked while she was just using it normally.

I don't know if they've improved any as my first Android phone was the Xperia X10 a few years back and it was great, but the new ones? No thanks.
