Re: Eyes on the code? Not.

Another hyped event , to kill free software, that is where all this crap is headed

Re: How to check?

apt-get update , apt-get upgrade, its patch just update you box

theylie

Re: permisions

and the NSA is doing that anyway, so?

theylie

Ubuntu is patch just update your box, no offense to anyone but most of the internet runs on linux and its all still working, another hyped event, like heartbleed bad things could have happened, no proof anything did. When I see half the internet go down Ill assume there is a real bug that actually wasnt caught and got used to do evil until they, apt-get update, apt-get upgrade and smile

Patch Bash NOW: 'Shellshock' bug blasts OS X, Linux systems wide open

another huge hype

most of the internet has been running on linux for decades, oddly it has stayed up pretty well ,This like heartbleed is full , of if this and if that, or what could happen, but yet again, the internet is still working, so we can assume, not much harm has been done. Heartbleed should have leaked 1000's of passwords and 1000's of websites should have been taken over, but none of that happened, there was a ton of hype about what could have happened. Rememeber NIST backdoors software trusting them is laughable, we have linux because windows got owned regularly thats why linux is running most of the net. On page 3 of the comments here some one explains how setting up things properly make this thing a joke

Re: That was quick! In comparison to Windows, for example...

yea and the entire internet powerd by linux melted , LMAO google "Nimda"

Re: This isn't a bug
