I am a tech fan boy of genuine HP spirit, in other words, to do best computer hardware on the world. No more circular steps, no more invent the wheel, and yes innovate in great IT infraestructures, with preferable organic grow, and complementary buy of little start-up companies. Juniper N. I believe its a very- very -big fish- and last goal dont its compete with CISCO but real competition they there are others infraestructure giants. The purchase expensive Juniper Co. its a total distract of real HPE goal. I believe.
The managerial HP guys on aprox 25 year had spent cuasi 50 B$ in purchase companies, total few strategic value. Otherwise IBM buy 35 B$ OS Redhat Linux, and NOW úntil, Microsoft feel real competition to OS Windows.
HPE think for today, IBM think for next future.
Excuse me, unkown guy, HP department mergers far.. far..about approx. 3 decades had make mistakes, sell and buy companies, I believed firts great error was sell Agilent and other product of hardware that communication business of DEC, second forget their hardware vocation and enter on software business and services IT four telecomm. División HPE had invested total 20000m $ Peakcrest, 3com and now Juniper and others.

Great dreams from HP director Meg Whitman on 2015, but years passed and today tech way selected by actual HPE managerial is convert that company at a Switching company...Why ?? To compete HPE with powerful Cisco, many, many resources R&D will be focus in communications tech, that way is a nonsense path about total HP company history, yes circles + circles to get nowhere !!
Well... The King is dead, long live the King...Now the real foe of HPE dont is Dell neither IBM is Europe, well now is time to purchase veteran UNISYS, that company convergence spirit of seven dwarfs, humillate rivalry of powerful Watson company IBM. Now XXI century only Hewlett Packard is the company selected natural decision by destiny to eclipse arrogan IBM.
Excuse me "Uh oh" guy, but from me personal vision the purchase of routers Juniper Có.(14.000 m $ ) and legal fiasco of british Autonomy co , all added its make HPE minus competitive toward future.
Otherwise DELL real HPE competition it had many...many million dollars (cash from sell WMware ) and their future its more predictable and sure, and dont only selling routers !!
Me personal opinion about HPE and Juniper affaire is that a mové out of time, to go 20 years it had sense, the key word is REDUNDANCY products from Aruba and Silver creast...repeat .. now merger dont had sense. Many money and great debt of HPE than limited future strategics company movements. British ACM Will shall say NOT and make great favour to founder Silicon Valley industry
I DONT DOUBT, MIKE LYNCH SCREWED BY Hewlett Packard THE LAST 13 YEARS APROX 5000 DAYS, screwed ( with or without basement).. under suspicius, jailed, deported, with médical handicaps, límited personal life, and deteriored their managerial life, etc

Me personal opinion about that affaire, its a power vacuum in high direction managerial on venerable californian HP company, firts decade XXI century, I believe ex ATT C Fiorinna, ex NCR Mark Hurd and ex IBM Apotheker, all 3 CEOs dont focus in make HP in a moore competiviness about IBM, Dell etc, instead the firts objetive of them is to do a big one company.
Vision from Apotheker was créate HP a oriented software company ( erroneus, all HP vocation hystory its engineering great hardware. ).That strategy unchained, (I believed ) a one harry up decision to purchase BRITISH Autonomy.
Chesterday there is software from MS Boys, today change to Libre software from everywhere Boys, tomorrow god to say...but certainly if the final goal is hight level of efficience, security, power, compatibility, rapid and trusty solution software mistakes, future application developments, etc all need
back many many economic resource and I believe in world very little companies their had that power. !!
Many... many billions for Intel, that last America tech maneuver for save their national UV nanometer manufacturing process. The cuestion is: It is good estrategy to put too much money in only one basket ? That special money help dont injured other American tech companies ? eg archicompetitor modestly AMD and others
Fatal Politicians and enterprise directors...In Europe... they had focused attencion on great words e.g. HPC, electric vehicles, Rockets to moon, (all to give many votes by ignorants to politicians) .
