Swedish prosecutors finally agree to London interview for Assange™

Re: Interview

"If they had enough evidence, they could have charged him years ago."

You really haven't been paying attention, have you? We've been over this several times already: the justice system in Sweden can't charge him yet, this interview is a prerequisite. Stop reading the conspiracy blogs and instead go learn the facts of the case.

Sit back down, Julian Assange™, you're not going anywhere just yet

Re: Mad

And why the ^%$^ should the prosecutor let the suspect dictate the conditions? That's a seriously slippery slope you're suggesting, but it seems people can't think straight when it comes to their beloved hero Assange.

Re: Who cost the taxpayer £6M?

"Even in Sweden". Wow, thanks for the vote of confidence. "Even" in Sweden. We're just above the threshold for being considered a developed country where people aren't just summarily executed for stealing carrots, right?

"...a jury of his peers.". No. Regular trials have no juries in Sweden. But why bother checking such things before posting your comment? Better to just assume stuff, and go with the view of Sweden as presented in US movies and TV series.
