Microsoft ends notifications for Win-Phone 7.5 and 8.0

It's somewhat telling that your perfectly reasonable reminisce about a phone which you enjoyed the experience of, should be down-voted.

You're not obnoxious about another system, you're not saying it's superior, or even giving an opinion on a specific feature for somebody to disagree with, yet someone out there is so disgruntled that you enjoyed a Microsoft product they had to show their disapproval.

Nice.

Re: If they keep making a few Enterprise phones

HERE for Windows Mobile isn't the app he was describing - the default map app on WinMo 10 is Microsoft's own, it merely licenses the map data from HERE and uses its own front end for everything else including Navigation - and it's updated frequently!

Re: Windows Phone?

I believe the 15% high was Italy a couple years ago. It was around 10% or more in quite a few European countries too, including the UK, France and Germany. I think they also had similar success in Russia and some South American countries.

"/S ? Not sure if that is sarcasm, but Windows Phone is not Win32, there isn't even a Steam client app for Windows Phone."

Yes there is!

Re: Spreading more FUD, little truth in it

I didn't say or imply you were uncivil, but by largely ignoring every part of the post except the one regarding an agenda, some of it directly contradicting the article, I took it to mean an inference of nonsense without any explanation.

The poster informed you, amongst other points, that rollbacks could be made with the recovery tool via the Microsoft servers - contrary to the information in the article. If untrue, then an explanation would be welcome, if true, then the article is incorrect and an edit is surely in order.

I was merely trying to say if you take the time to argue against a post, you should respond

I think you're confusing Investigative Journalism with Ethical Hacking.
