Lift Engineer

I worked as a Lift Installation Engineer for a while. The first job was in some ways the best as it involved installing a goods lift in Boddingtons Brewery. Not everyones favourite Beer, however the fact that there was free beer three times a day made up for it.

Saturday overtime was an added bonus, time and a half plus free beer. How times change

As you have explained how to get the developer version, is there any {good} reason why there is no info on how to back up the phone to assist in re-installing the current OS if things go wrong.

Re: 80 Hour Weeks

I will not get into a Taxi that is being driven by an idiot that works 18 hour shifts. I hope that you do not have an accident causing you or your passengers injury due to your ignorance.

I suspect many would be of a similar mind if they knew of your indifference to their wellbeing

Far out man

I would not use a Taxi service that has drivers doing 14 hours plus per day. I value the remainder of my years too much to be driven by someone who towards the end of such a shift is probably accident prone. The following days shift could also be dangerous to all concerned due to fatigue etc. from the previous day (s)

Ad men hope blocking has stalled as sites guilt users into switching off

Far out man
WTF?

I use and will continue to use an ad blocker plus modified host file.

What does really piss me off, is that when I do decide that content is worth paying for, I still get served adverts. Tested by turning off said ad blocker and using default host file. Cake and eat it? Only for the time it take to cancel the subscription.

Re: Dual sim

I took a punt on the Umi Zero a while ago. It is not 4G, so if this is a necessity look elsewhere.

It meets my needs perfectly, can manage and name each sim separately, eg., work and personal. Manage the contacts to dial accordingly or ask which sim to use. One sim can be removed and a memory card installed instead.

Only downside is the deliver time it took to come from China
