eBay users spot the online auction house port-scanning their PCs. Um... is that OK?

Jake Maverick

There are also multiple ebay accounts here running from same IP address.....should I be worried? I'm solely dependent on ebay for my income.....

Jake Maverick

Pretty sure it's illegal along with so many other things....like the number of sellers on there that have absolutely no intention of fulfilling you order, they just sell your personal data to Amazon for a %! I'm boycotting Amazon! No way to stop it :-(

I've had to change PCs, account details, physical address and use a different bank card...because my account was targeted and black listed. So many sites out there telling you the problems with them/ horror stories now......I lost my house because of it so had to move anyway.

But I think a large part of the problem is this perverted capitalism we now have. They did away with the Monopolies and Mergers commission 20 odd years ago.....this allowed the most successful of these auction sites simply to buy up and close down the competition. So many good businesses have ended up pretty much solely dependent on ebay and have been forced to close/ go out of business simply because of ebay's shoddy business practices. Some of the time i'm sure it's simply the competition claiming they're selling stolen goods and with no evidence whatsoever ebay shuts them down....

I've known people who have bought a second hand PC and had their account closed/ blacklisted because ebay scanned the CPU ID and decided they didn't like that person. Same with blacklisted physical addresses.....people do move you know, it's not the same person!

Re: Telco can locate people well enough

no, you can't turn it off! if they know your mobile phone number or the tracker id on the handset....not only can they monitor your movements they can also turn camera and microphone on remotedly and listen in.....they can also use these flying little robots to assassinate you from the sky and anybody who happens to be standing within a few hundred metres of you at the time.....why don't people know this already? it's not 'new' news, 20 years old already......

Re: Remember, remember

or abestos, Omagh and a million other things that joe public collectively forgets and somehow believes that these powerful people really are doing it to them for their own good rather than their own......how do you think they got to be rich and powerful people? decent people never do.....

Jake Maverick

actually, my dick hasn't worked quite as well as it used to before they went in....i had never made the connection before :-(

Just increased headaches, inaility to think, blurred vision, more than usual heart pains, depression and lack of sleep. But that may well be psychosomatic (?) as i know the real reason they're there, at a minimum is constant surveillance of what people get up to in their own homes in full 3d holoporn.

Jake Maverick

can anybody give me an example of when actual independent scientists and supposedly independent scientists that are paid by the government......actually agreed on anything? say in the last 60 years or so?

Jake Maverick

What a disgusting article, I expect better from this site..... I'm by far from a 'luddite', my qualifications and experience speaks for itself!

Fact is nowhere near enough scientific research has been conducted so impossible to tell definitively one way or the other. As you mention though what has been done certainly suggests it is something to worry about...such as the tests on animals. Closest thing you're going to get to a human....and DARPA has well documented that the same technology can be used as a weapon against people. This is a publicly acknowledged fact! Anybody who has access or a malicious hacker either through deliberate action or incompetence can vary those signals enough to turn it into a very dangerous weapon to use on the population.

It is also a fact that I have been suffering a lot more headaches, depression and insomnia since the dman blue pyramid went on the lamp posts around here.....of course it could be something else that is causing that but I certainly not noticed anything else changing in my environment.

I would also have thought that anybody who writes for this 'rag' would also be familiar with the concept of radar and the current processing power of everyday computers and the s/w that is available. This gives the ability for these 'people' to record and monitor in full 3d holoporn 24/7 o what ever you choose to get up to in your own home.....so of course they want that power. If a significant % of the population gets ill and die a lot earlier...so what, to their mentality? Also with the problems facing this planet the science does suggest that we need radical population reduction or things will start to get extremely bad for everybody with global warming and fossil fuels running try....but hey lets cut down all the trees for 5G.

Why is a 22GB database containing 56 million US folks' personal details sitting on the open internet using a Chinese IP address? Seriously, why?

Jake Maverick

My first real job str8 out of University was working for BT. I was involved in the role out of what they called PhoneNetUK.....they got permission from some little known govt agency to break the DPA.

So, basically everybody's name and address got published on the Internet. Many folks complained about that....repeatedly....until they got murdered. The staff dealing with these complaints thought that was hilarious....

At a MINIMUM several thousand people got murdered, kneecapped, stabbed, beaten up...and they're just the one's I got to hear about. The most famous of which was Jill Dando....

Talking about/ campaigning on these things also got me ass raped in mental prison for six months. As well as a lot of other bad **** happening to me.....stole my identity for one. Been homeless and destitute ever since....basically kept as a slave to pedophiles. 14th Anniversary was the 6th of January for me.

So how can we put a stop to these things? Well, you're not allowed to talk about that for legal reasons.

IT contractor has £240k bill torn up after IR35 win against UK taxman

Jake Maverick

I used to be an 'agency temp', not quite the same thing....but they had me on emergency tax the whole time! I was working two jobs, 60-60 hours a week at it's peak....and my take home weekly pay was sometimes less than a hundred pound, whilst the tax for that week was sometimes several hundred. Of course, i was expecting a multi thousand pound tax refund at the end of that year, and several years around that time.....never got it! What can I do?

In other news HMRC supposedly lost millions of people's tax records shortly after that time...just think about for a moment, multiple servers, RAIDed servers, back up tape....they all got lost at exactly the same time? How do you think they paid for the Iraq war.....never mind the others? Taxes didn't substantially increase, on paper anyway.....

People who paid for it were the lowest paid poorest people unable to do anything about it.......

Jake Maverick

Somebody and probably several people got paid bonuses (and possibly promotions) for deliberately 'miscalculating' and pursuing people over things like this.....it won't stop until that stops!

Jake Maverick

Re: Quelle Surprise !!!

they already have been and have been doing so for decades! this isn't 'new' tech.....it's just finally being talked about publically. it's been ongoing since the 60s at least....

Jake Maverick

anybody who has been speaking about this over the past 20 years has been automatically interned in mental prisons and reported to the 'security services' though, so why are you allowed to talk about this now?

um...all these wifi, smart arsed metres and these little blue triangle appearing on lamposts everywhere you look are starting to make much more sense now....don't worry Picard will save us, but we just have to wait/ hang on until next year.....

A few reasons why cops haven't immediately shot down London Gatwick airport drone menace

Jake Maverick

um, couple of thoughts....so called police routinely break the law every day, it's a job requirement...so that is hardly an excuse.

they don't cause a problem in places like Iraq and afghanistan, they shoot them down all the time...i suspect more likely arguments going on whether to deploy that tech as plenty of journalists about and they don't want known how advanced their tech is....

why no photos of this drone? surely somebody should have got some pics by now with a super duper lense?

just leaves me with very uneasy suspicion something bigger going on here that we're not being told about....

If most punters are unlikely to pay more for 5G, why all the rush?

Jake Maverick

appalls me that this article and a quick browse of the comments fails to mention two things.....1. being this gives state employees and any individual with the brains and enough money to buy the technology (which isn't much) the ability to view and record everything that goes on in your own home in full 3d holo porn....the concept of radar has been common knowledge for over a hundred years, right? It's just a question of acquiring the hardware (a smartphone) and the software....did hear of a company developing very limited software for sale for commercial applications...18 months back, so probably on market by now...it's just a Q of tweaking that software a bit to get the really good full HD holos/ colour them in with relaistic flesh tones etc....2nd point being the health aspects. known to cause cancers and neuroligical impairments, damage to thyroid gland and other stuff....the full effects of which obviously aren't yet known and what is known is being suppressed....this really is the new asbestos and potentially a lot worse....everybody gets that inflicted on them regardless of whether they pay for it or not.....and it really is just not needed!

UK computer dealer Aria PC loses £750k VAT fraud appeal attempt in THAT case

Long and short of it they destroyed my business, nearly went bankrupt over it....I suspect deliberately as I was a competitor as well as a customer.....at the time they couldn't even answer their phones....hour and a half once i let it ring, nobody picked up......these scoundrels are as dirty as they come......not to mention margins on PC equipment are very tight....so how can this joker afford to pay the lawyers for continuing to drag this all out if he's not been ripping people off?

Jake Maverick

fake ID no good anymore...it all has to link back to govt sanctioned DBs now so you are screwed, as i am....ID stolen 12 1/2 years back and haven't been able to get so much as a bank account ever since...so you canimgaine how screwed my life is, certainly no hope of a career now even if i could get back onto the system tomorrow

Was always taught that the law was effectively the same under the Data Protection Act. But the DPA Registrar nor the Information Commissioner actually did anything to enforce it or even investigate. Couldn't even get the data that local council or past employers were holdingon me to name few examples...I even went to court over it, to no avail....just ignored So I'm very doubtful this will actually go anywhere either.....expect the response to be something along the lines of going to take couple of years, but ahem..Brexit so we not going to bother.

5% discount on insurance? I don't drive...but I have young friends that the insurance company simply refuses to insure them unless they accept the tracking box and none of them have any idea of what it is doing/ sharing....and in other cases the difference in the bill is several thousands pounds, are several hundred % markup for those who do/ have the option of refusing if they want to drive. You know that silly fear about Alexa recording everything and leaking it online? It just happened

Jake Maverick

I can't believe even the idiots are actually buying these. Re: "or through a brief conversation"

you ever tried doing that in practice? there is no rule.....they'll just kick the shit out of you and violently abduct you anyway....for many it's reason enough to have you ass raped in mental prison! it's SOP, just because media won't report on it dnt mean it's not been happening.....! those who refuse to co-operate with these anonymous psychopaths who rape, torture, steal and murder with immunity are all mentally ill....didn't you know?

Jake Maverick

I've asked to be removed, repeatedly- it just provokes more violence from them.

I also suspect they're lying...the technology is much better than that! I know for a fact it was late 90s as I was working on it then....technology can only have improved since then!

They're actually using the term "fixated individual" now....? you know when you have been FTAC'd :-( it's code for 'political dissident' or activist or campaigner......who are routinely targeted by the state and have their entire lives destroyed so they can't campaign, talk to people, be part of the 'debate' etc....that is the kinda cuntry this is now and has been for well over a decade. You don't see it until it happens to you.
