The splitting image: Sufferer of hurty wrist pain? Logitech's K860 a potential answer

Curiosity

Been using the old Logitech ergonomic model ('Cordless Desktop Pro') every day for 10+ years and have a spare on the shelf. Glad to see they're bringing it back.

Just my personal preference: I like the numpad and multimedia keys to be present on the main keyboard. So I have more keys to program, and the numeric pad is closer for my hands to travel. I will probably buy the the K860 anyway, even though the multimedia are now part of the function keys.

MicroSoft Sculpt is very comfortable, but hopefully MS can replace the physical lever that toggles the function keys to/from multimedia, with a normal (modifier or otherwise) key that can be tapped in an instant. And attach the numpad to the main board.

But I encourage all companies that manufacture and experiment with ergonomic devices.

Win Phone - it could have worked

As an average consumer I liked my Win Phones. Viewed them as more secure. Lack of apps could be overlooked. Problem for me was ergonomics. 1. Settings-menu-fonts too small to read. 2. Qwerty keyboard to hard to use. It could have been very easy to fix both of these, using comments or suggestions from users. But if I can't type on my phone or read its screen, what am I to do? Sent them comments but it fell on deaf ears.

So, these guys turn up with AK47s and offer me protection ...

I don't listen to Bok van Blerk and don't have an opinion about him, just get your facts straight though: Fighting the 'kakkies' means 'khakis' = British soldiers in 1899-1902, and has nothing to do with the derogatory 'k...' word for blacks.

The single thing that will bring the largest improvement to MS phones right now: Make the {great} Word Flow available for all languages! Even if it's a bit downscaled to guess a little less accurately. The current one obviously looks at sentence context too. But the "lite" versions won't have to!
